Dorothy has had an interest in expressing herself through art since age seven and has dabbled in various media. She studied oil painting at the Brooklyn Museum Art School and watercolor painting at the Art Students' League in Manhattan. Since moving to Larchmont in 1977, Dorothy studied with Mary Hargrave, Cecilia Giarcelli Storick, and the late Alton S. Tobey. She loves color and light, and strives to share her love of the natural world with others.
